The Acceleration Increase upgrade is now available to Mercedes-Benz EQE and EQS customers in the U.S. and Canada. The upgrade can be implemented as an Over-the-Air (OTA) update, enhancing the vehicle's power output by up to 80 hp and significantly improving acceleration times. The Mercedes me connect Store offers these upgrades either as a one-time purchase, valid for the vehicle's lifetime, or as flexible monthly and yearly subscription options.
Specifically, eligible EQE models can enjoy a performance boost from 288 hp to 348 hp, reducing acceleration times from 0 to 60 mph by up to a second. Select EQS models can benefit from an extra 80 hp, totaling 435 hp, and achieving remarkable 0-60 mph acceleration times of as little as 4.5 seconds. Importantly, these performance enhancements don't affect the vehicles' electric range.
The Mercedes me connect Store allows customers to download the Acceleration Increase directly to their vehicle, eliminating the need for a dealership visit.
In addition to Acceleration Increase, the Mercedes me connect Store offers a range of other On-Demand upgrades for a wide variety of models. These include Beginner Driver and Valet Service Modes, AMG TRACK PACE, Navigation and expanded Navigation features, Remote Engine Start, and more, enabling customers to tailor their vehicle to their evolving needs and preferences.
